In an attempt to stay true to the mission of this site, which was to provide a caring support group as well as EASY to find information on SOD without having to sort through hundreds of pages of posts, please follow these guidelines when posting:
1.
Search First - Chances are your question might already be answered.
2. Post in the appropriate forum.
3. Please do not be offended if your thread gets moved to the right forum. We don't like doing this, but sometimes have to so we can maintain order.
4. Do not 'bump' your thread repeatedly, or post the same question/topic in multiple forums.
5. Please use the enter key! No one likes to read long globs of text.
6. Use common sense when posting, and be courteous.
7. If you know the answer to a question asked here, PLEASE answer it. Do not wait for others to do it
Please make the moderators lives easier by following the above guidelines, it will really be appreciated. Unfortunately the moderators are not paid, they are volunteers who are here to help
YOU, so please do not abuse them!
And some general rules about our site:1. Do not flame anyone, be nice.
2. Don't curse, it's a sign of lower intelligence, and we don't like it here!
3. You can have
one link in your signature to whatever site you like, as long as it doesn't violate any of our rules
4. No posting pornographic pictures, links, statements etc...
5. No posting of illegal files, or linking to them, or talking about them. We're not getting into trouble because of you!
We have a warning/banning system in place here.. And we're very quick to use it
And yes, we have banned by IP and even subnets in the past when we needed to. So be nice and just follow the rules and lets enjoy!
